Missions

Our Missionary Groups embody the heart of our church's mission to live lives for God, love without limits, and serve with purpose. For over 85 years, these dedicated groups of women and men have fostered Christian mission responsibilities through religious and social activities, reaching into homes and communities to provide comfort, support, and practical assistance to those in need. With prayer, fellowship, and service, our circles do the work of the church: spreading both the message and the love of God.

Alert Missionary Circle

Founded in 1938 under the leadership of Reverend J.W. Tynes, the Alert Missionary Circle was established by members who felt called to make the world a better place. With the motto "Always Willing to Help Others," this circle focuses on fostering Christian mission responsibilities through both religious and social activities. Members provide practical support by going into homes to help with cooking, cleaning, washing, and caring for sick and bereaved families.
